Electrical Wiring Plan Terms & Conditions
Prior to being able to purchase the electrical wiring maintenance plan, you must have a thorough electrical inspection performed by Johnson Electrical Solutions. The first electrical inspection is a one-time charge of $69.99 and determines eligibility for establishing coverage. Any existing electrical issues or liabilities found during the inspection must be corrected at your expense before the Electrical Wiring Maintenance Plan can be purchased. If no problems are found, you will then have the option to purchase coverage. If problems are found during the inspection you will be notified of the problems and repairs that will be needed before coverage can be purchased. If you choose to have another company repair existing problems found during the inspection, please understand there will need to be a second inspection to make sure repairs were performed properly. Once the inspection is complete and coverage is purchased, Johnson Electrical Solutions will repair all covered future electrical problems at no cost to you as provided in the following electrical wiring contract. The Johnson Electrical Solutions, Electrical Wiring Maintenance Plan is a optional service, offered to residences and businesses. The electrical wiring maintenance plan covers everything that brings power from your meter to items listed above, but not the items themselves. The Electrical Wiring Maintenance Plan becomes effective thirty (30) days after you enroll. If you live in rented or leased facilities, condominiums, or cooperative dwellings, you should first determine whether you are responsible for repairs to your electrical wiring prior to subscribing to the service. If it is determined that you have a electrical problem is not caused by the electrical wiring, outlet, switch, breaker or breaker box connections/terminations, but instead by the customer equipment, such as defective appliances, devices, electronics or blown light bulbs, we will locate the problem, however, there will be a charge for this service. You will not be asked or expected to troubleshoot hardwired items that cannot be unplugged. If the repairman determines a hardwired item is defective, such as the light fixture itself(Not The Bulb),or a ceiling fan, you will have the option to purchase and provide a similar replacement, that we will connect and wire at a discounted rate. At our discretion, we will determine the manner by which the repairs will be made.
